NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given to all members of the British Columbia Blind Sports and Recreation Association that the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the Association will be held:

At 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 20, 2009
CNIB Building
5055 Joyce Street, Vancouver, BC

Please call the provincial office at (604) 325-8638 to confirm your attendance (or to have your regrets noted).

Call for Nominations
The nominating committee is seeking assistance in identifying individuals to stand for election within the BC Blind Sports and Recreation Association for the positions of:

• Treasurer
• Athlete’s Representative
• Sport Technical Director
• Members at Large (3 positions)

The Nominating Committee Chair, Brian Cowie, can be contacted through the Executive Director at the BC Blind Sports and Recreation Association office. The deadline for receipt of nominations is 4:00 p.m. Wednesday June 17, 2009.

We will pay travel and accommodation expenses for members of the Board of Directors and the Sport Commissioners.
