Dragon Boat

EYE OF THE DRAGON OPEN BOAT 2011

Eye of the Dragon is hosting a free clinic on Sunday 25th September 2011, 12.30 - 2.30pm at the Creekside Community Centre 1 Athletes Way, Vancouver.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn the basics of dragon boating. There will be land based introductions to the technique and on water practice and racing. Followed by light refreshments.

This is open to anyone who is interested. Life Jackets and paddles are provided. Unfortunately we don't have life jackets for children. Children are welcome to attend, however they will need to provide their own life jacket.

Clothing: Weather appropriate clothing. It is a water sport so you may get wet. Jeans or any other heavy clothing is not advisable. Change rooms and washrooms are on site.

Transport: The closest public transport location is Main Street, Terminal Skytrain Station. If anyone requires assistance from either the bus stop or skytrain please let us know and we are happy to arrange for a volunteer to meet you.
