2011 Results

Deep Cove Charity Race - April 16, 2011

It was a great day although absolutely freezing. Deep Cove is a great introduction to the race season as the races are only a 200m event. Awesome sprint racing. There were some great teams present and I'm personally proud of the teams efforts.

Eye of the Dragon had a great day with some great results to show for the fun we had. In all there were 40 teams competing on the day, 23 of them mixed teams. 2004 Results

For the first time in its eleven years of racing at Vancouver's Alcan Festival, Eye of the Dragon was ranked among the competitive teams, finishing 6th in the Competitive C Championship race (or 22nd among the 153 mixed teams). Way to go team!

Sonar Dragons from Kelowna also competed in the Alcan Festival Races in Vancouver, finishing third in the Recreational D Consolation race (99th among the 153 mixed teams).

Dragon Boat Festival Vancouver 2001

Out of over 160 teams that completed the 2001 Vancouver Alcan Dragon Boat Festival Spring Regatta, the teams of Sonar Dragons based out of Kelowna and Eye of the Dragon based in Vancouver finished 115th and 116th respectively. Also noteworthy was the awarding of the Governor General’s Trophy to the team demonstrating the most sportsmanlike conduct to the Eye of the Dragon Team.
